Zoo Rentals
The zoo is available to rent for parties and events.
The following information is for a rental during regular business hours (9 am to 5 pm)
- Zoo rentals must be booked at least 2 weeks (14 days) in advance.
- All fees must be paid when the rental is booked.
- Insurance is required for any public event on City of Alamogordo property.
- Rental fees do not include vendor permits, environmental permits, business licenses, or special events permits not within the control of the City of Alamogordo Parks department or the Alameda Park Zoo. A separate permit process is required for such reservations.
- Additional permits are issued by:

- NM Environment Department, 811 E First Street, Suite D, Alamogordo, NM 88310 575-437-7115.
- Electrical posts can be used for an additional fee of $19.00 each
Rental Rates
- Weekdays
- Half day (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm) $270.00
- Full day (9 am to 5 pm) $540.00
- Weekends
- Half day (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm) $430.00
- Full day (9 am to 5 pm) $860.00
